Dieses Heft wurde zusammengestellt, um einem leidvoll empfundenen Mangel abzuhelfen: Grifftabellen für Bariton-Ukulele sind an sich schon selten zu finden, und nicht wenige Lernende behelfen sich mit Gitarrengriffen, bei denen man die beiden tiefen Saiten wegläßt. Linkshändern wurden bisher überhaupt keine Griffe geboten. Der Anfänger steht also zunächst vor der ganz wesentlichen Frage, wie er die wichtigsten Griffe finden soll. An dieser Stelle setzt das vorliegende Heft an: Es bringt nicht alle, aber doch die wichtigsten Akkorde. Mit ihnen wird man eine ganze Weile sein Auslangen fin-den. Der Fortgeschrittene wird sich seinen Wunsch nach weiteren Akkorden leicht selbst erfüllen können. Das Heft teilt sich in drei Abschnitte: 1. Die einfachsten Akkorde 2. Die wichtigsten Akkorde 3. Akkord-Übersicht, nach Grundtönen geordnet Die Griffbilder sind so angeordnet, daß man sie auch ausschneiden kann. Auf diese Weise werden sie zu Griff-Karten, von denen man einige vor sich auf den Tisch legen kann, wenn man diese Akkorde üben möchte. Mit der Zeit erarbeitet man sich dann immer weitere davon. Zur besseren Haltbarkeit können die Kar-ten auch laminiert werden. Das Heft ist in gleicher Ausstattung und Anordnung auch für Linkshänder erhält-lich (Ausgabe L).

The Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX : The Belgian and Dutch squadrons (9791096490745)

The Spitfire Mk.IX is one of the best known versions of the Spitfire. However, it should never really have existed. Its creation can be attributed to the appearance of the Focke-Wulf Fw190 over western Europe at the end of 1941. Royal Air Force pilots were quick to state the Spitfire Mk.V, the frontline RAF fighter at the time in Great Britain, was outclassed in many aspects by the new German fighter. The RAF, therefore, had to urgently find a solution to improve the Spitfire and with a new Merlin engine, the Spitfire Mk IX was born. The Mk.IX was produced for almost three years and would become one of the main fighters and fighter-bombers of the RAF in Europe in 1944 and 1945. In total, during the Second World War more than 100 fighter units were totally or partially equipped with the Spitfire, included the two Belgian fighter squadrons of the RAF, Nos. 349 and 350 and the only Dutch fighter squadron, No. 322.
